Frequently Asked Questions

Q: If I am gone for a couple of weeks, am I still allowed to participate?

A: Absolutely! A number of our athletes have to miss due to vacations, camps etc. We can send them with a workout to do while they are absent. Once they return, they just start back up where they left off.

Q: Will I be using a ball or playing my sport during the program?

A: No, the goal of the program is to help you improve your ability to run, jump, and change direction. Once your ability has improved, this can be applied to your sport skill to improve performance.

Q: What is a typical day like?

A: Each athlete will participate in a unique class each day that involves activities in the weight room integrated with a speed, agility and jump training program to maximize speed, agility, power, strength, proprioception, flexibility and conditioning. The program takes a progressive, systematic approach to improving performance during the course.

Q: The program is over and I have reached my goals. Now what?

A: You may continue to enroll in more advanced courses or go out on your own and practice what you have been taught in class. The Performance Course mission is to empower and teach every individual, not just train you. The expectation is that you learn and understand not only how to train but how it effects you as an individual, and that you understand why you are practicing and training the way you are. Many of our past graduates have graduated and come back to counsel and instruct in our courses.

Q: Who will be instructing and supervising the program?

A: The performance Course staff is what sets it apart from other programs. Geno Pierce C.S.C.S. oversees and staffs all courses with positive, goal-oriented instructors who are dedicated to helping you reach your goals. Most of the staff has an extensive background working with Geno. Many of the individuals have graduated from the course and have been involved as counselors and instructors for a number of years. Individuals with the highest level of character and integrity will push you to achieve your dreams and goals.

Q: Will my 12 year old be doing the same course as my 18 year old?

A: No. The curriculum for each Course is different based on variables such as ability level, age, and in some cases, gender. Each Course is unique from the other to insure individual and team goals are being met.
