Calvin has been full time with Performance Course since 2016 after six summers on staff, and oversees the programs on the west side of DFW: Aledo, Weatherford, Granbury, Burleson Centennial, and Northwest ISD. Calvin came up through Performance Course as an athlete and is a former PC Star of the Year.

Calvin pitched at Howard College and Weatherford College before finishing at Texas Christian University, where he earned a Bachelor of Science in Health and Fitness in 2015, graduating Magna Cum Laude. While at TCU he interned with the strength and conditioning department, working with football and baseball.

Calvin and his wife Aubrey live in Brock with their two sons, Breck and Porter, and their daughter Shayne.

Calvin is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) through the National Strength and Conditioning Association, a Level 1 Club Coach through USA Weightlifting (USAW), and CPR/AED certified.
